To be completely honest with you I was not a scentsy enthusiast when I first came to discover scentsy but, once I got my hands on it I was hooked. My first encounter with scentsy was during my last days in college. I was observering a pre-school teacher during her class, which didn't smell like an ordinary room full of children. It was the most intriguing smell I had ever come across. She informed me on what the scentsy warmer was and the scentsy bars you purchase for the different aromas, the whole nine yards. Being the extremely broke college student I was at the time, I politely declined the offer of becoming a scentsy consultant. Over time, I kept the idea in the back of my head but told myself that if I ever came across the products again I would heavily weigh the decision to become a scentsy consultant. About nine months later, I ran across another lady selling scentsy products with her sister. My husband had purchased a warmer for his mother and mentioned how interesting they were. I told him about seeing scentsy products back when I was in college. I gave the teacher who I had observed a call and asked her more questions about selling scentsy. About an hour or so after our conversation, I talked with my husband and begged him to let me become a consultant. I got the green light, called the lady back and asked her where do I sign up. April of 2018, will be my eighth year anniversary as a Scentsy consultant. The consultant that introduced me to the scentsy business is now my Director and Super Star Director of our group. She has been wonderful through my scentsy experience and has been there every step of the way helping me to succeed in this business. She is always there when I need help or if I have questions. Thanks Lisa! I am still pretty low on our totem pole but still trying to get alittle further as I continue on my scentsy journey. I have definitely enjoyed everything scentsy has to offer as a business and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. The scentsy business gives you a new perspective of direct selling. You simply plug in the scentsy warmer, place the specially formulated scentsy wax into the warmer dish, turn it on and let the warmer do the rest. One of the best parts about this product is how safe it is. There isn't an open flame, wick, or soot making it completely safe. The warmer melts the wax just above body temperature so that it doesn't burn the skin. This feature makes it easy for the handler to return the wax to the original packaging, clean up being as easy as wiping out a bowl, and your warmer is ready for another amazing fragrance from scentsy. Another great feature about scentsy products is the unique styles and sizes of the warmers as well as the different variety of scentsy fragrances to chose from. Scentsy has introduced us to the new mid-size warmers that debuted in the Fall/Winter Catalog of 2009. They are great for offices and smaller sized rooms. Scentsy also has the adorable smaller plugin warmers great for bathrooms and areas with limited counter space. They also have the full size warmers that work wonders in larger room and lofts. Scentsy has a plethora of different fragrances to chose from. Scentsy introduced us to a few new collections last catalog period called Scentsy Man and Scentsy Cafe. Some of the other fragrance collections are Spa, Romance, Tropical, Bakery, and Favorites. Scentsy definitely fits into any budget, when it comes down to the price of the products. Every month there is a new warmer and fragrance that starts at a 10% off discount. Not to mention the different bundle packages you can purchase if you are trying to get a bang for your buck. If you are like me and are a little skeptical about joining the scentsy business, ask yourself "what would it hurt to join?" It is well worth the money you put forth to join because you will earn back every penny you put in and then some. This is also another means of income as well as an extremely large networking system that you can control. The opportunity as a consultant are limitless!
